Both Sevilla and Leganes hope to end their own miserable win droughts as they collide on Sunday. Watch the game live and for free on Fubo today.
The shadow of relegation from La Liga is looming large for a Leganes side that sits 19th in the table and four points from safety as it travels to face Sevilla on Sunday. A drop down to the second tier of Spanish soccer looks inevitable for Borja Jimenez’s side unless it can improve on a run of form that has seen the club earn just eight points from the last 39 on offer. Sevilla is better off in 15th place but is anything but sitting pretty as just five points separate it from the bottom three with five matchdays to go, though just one more win in that stretch should be enough to secure its top-flight future.

And the only certainty for Sevilla at this stage of the season is that nothing is certain, especially after the club has managed to take just one point from its last six games.
Joaquin Caparros was brought back to the club for a fourth stint at the helm to steady the ship at this late stage of the campaign, but it’s looked like more of the same in his two matches in charge.
Sevilla triumphed 1-0 the last time it hosted this fixture in December 2019 when Diego Carlos scored the only goal of the game:
It was back in November that Miguel de la Fuente’s late penalty secured a 1-0 win for Leganes in this season’s reverse fixture, but the Cucumber Growers were at the time in a much rosier place.
Things have deteriorated massively for the Madrid-based outfit since the turn of the year, though three draws from its last four outings is at least a turn towards something more resilient.
Jimenez will also be encouraged by last week’s dramatic 1-1 draw at home to Girona, where Munir El Haddadi came off the bench to bag a draw despite Leganes playing 70 minutes a man down.
