A vehicle fire took place this Friday evening. A heavy goods vehicle caught fire around 9 p.m. on the A9 motorway after Gallargues toll in the Gard. Fortunately, no victim is to be deplored.
Gard firefighters explained “As of their arrival, the tractor had been skillfully designed by the driver, making it possible to limit the impact to the only fire of the trailer, fully destroyed.”
Finally, the rescue intervention lasted 4 hours. Traffic could be normally restored around 00h this Saturday. For the moment, the causes of the start of fire are not known. An investigation could be opened in the coming days by the Gard gendarmerie.
