All that we know about the 2025 range of Google

Under an apparently unchanged dress, Google could reserve us nice surprises with its Pixel 10.

More than a little waiting before we can discover the Pixel 10. For the time being, we are establishing a forecast observation based on all the rumors gleaned in recent months about Pixel 10.

How many pixel 10?

Yes, because they should once again be four in number: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 PRO, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, as revealed Androidheadlines. Besides, we also know their code names:

  • Pixel 10 : Frankel
  • Pixel 10 Pro : Blazer
  • Pixel 10 Pro XL : Mustang
  • Pixel 10 Pro Fold : Rango

The interesting point is that Google would therefore retain its small high -end version, the Pixel 9 Pro having had to meet its audience.

When will the Pixel 10 come out?

You have to expect Google to reveal them during the summer, as was the case last year for the current generation. An advanced date which thus takes on Apple courses which retains its back -to -school keynote in September.

If the Pixel 10 would therefore be presented in August as the Pixel 9, on the other hand, we can, in 2025, hope to see the release of Android 16 before and therefore Google devices that would come out with the latest version of the software, unlike the Pixel 9. Note also that last year the Pixel 9 Pro Fold had been marketed in offbeat, in early September.

How much will the Pixel 10 cost?

Android Headlines indicates that it has gotten their hands on part of the Pixel 10 prices.

  • Pixel 10 Pro Fold : 1600 dollars (-300 dollars)
  • Pixel 10 Pro XL : 1200 dollars (+100 dollars)

On the folding, Google would be a winner by offering the Smarpthone of this cheapest type on the market.

For the Pixel 10 Pro XL, the strategy would be to dig the gap with the Pixel 10 Pro whose price would not change: $ 1000.

The basic model, the Pixel 10, would retain its rate of $ 800. All these prices correspond to 128 GB version, except for the Fold which starts in 256 GB.

A preserved design

Google has found a strong visual signature with its recent pixel and should not radically upset it. We must therefore expect to find slices and flat surfaces and the emblematic horizontal photo module at the rear, which stretches on the width of the phone.

Unlike the Pixel 9a, it would not be flush and would always exceed the hull. Logical enough for pro models that have periscopic objectives.

If certain details such as the (matt or brilliant) finish are still debated, the general aesthetics would remain in line with the Pixel 9.

Screen: do we take the same and do we start again?

Same diagram for screens. The Pixel 10 and 10 Pro would remain on an AMOLED LTPO slab of 6.3 inch. The Pixel 10 Pro XL would rise to 6.7 inches, as its predecessor and with the same characteristics. The visual experience will not be less good since we already have very beautiful screens on the current range.

A less energy -consuming tensor

This is undoubtedly the most anticipated and commented aspect of future pixel: Google’s house chip. The Pixel 10 series should logically take the new generation of Google Tensor processor: the G5.

This new SOC (System-on-A-Chip) is presented as a strategic evolution and not a total revolution, reports Android Authority, despite a redesigned architecture:

  • Coeur Principal Cortex X4 (idem au g4)
  • Five cores Cortex A725 (against three Cortex A720 on the G4)
  • Two Cortex A520 hearts (against four hearts on the G4)

In the record, it is not “upset”! And yet, this rebalancing could work since in parallel Google relies on two new features.

The most unexpected change concerns the graphics processor (GPU). Google abandons Arm Mali solutions for the benefit of an Imagination Technologies GPU, the DXT-48-1536.

This new graphic chip brings two major innovations: the support for Ray Tracing, a first for a pixel, and GPU virtualization, opening the way to new features.

The other asset that this Tensor G5 could argue, it is its manufacturing process.

Exit Samsung, Google would have come closer to TSMC to give it the production of the Tensor G5 using a 3 nanometers engraving process (3 Nm) which should largely promote energy efficiency and therefore the autonomy of the devices.

So yes the Tensor G5 will probably not yet be a benchmarks leader, but discreetly he will undoubtedly be able to bring the necessary performances to ordinary people, performances “for everyday life”, as Google likes to recall.

And then, the Tensor G5, like its predecessors, should be strongly focused on artificial intelligence capacities. Google uses its tensor chips to supply exclusive and sophisticated features, in particular in computational photography, language treatment and in the management of its devices. We can therefore expect the Tensor G5 to improve and still develop these capacities.

One more photo sensor on the Pixel 10

Google has built the reputation of its pixel on software treatment and unparalleled artificial intelligence, and this should continue with the Pixel 10. We can expect low light improvements, better management of the details and increased zoom capacities, even if the equipment does not evolve drastically on all models.

Indeed, the Pixel 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL and 10 Pro Fold could maintain a configuration close to that of the current generation:

  • A 50 megapixel main sensor,
  • an ultra-angle of 48 megapixels,
  • and a periscopic telephoto of 48 megapixels.

Small exception, the 10 Pro Fold would be entitled to a new main sensor with the Samsung GN8 (50 Mpx – 1/1.95 ”) which would replace the 64 MP sensor of the current model.

The big novelty, we expect it on the side of the Pixel 10. Google would take this year a step that Apple has always prohibited: adding an optical zoom on its basic model. On the other hand, we can doubt that it will be the same periscopic telephoto lens as pro models, it would be a misinterpretation. A simple optical zoom, as on the Nothing Phone (3a), would be more to consider.

A new modem

Change of modem on the Pixel 10. After considering Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X75, Google would have devoted its devolved to the Mediatek T900, a chip that promises better energy efficiency and extended network compatibility.

It would be a nice addition for the pixel. Until then Google used Samsung modems on its devices and, at times, could encounter overheating problems, in particular.

Battery: The great mystery?

No information filtered on the capacity of the batteries of Pixel 10, nor on their loads. Nevertheless, by bringing together the aforementioned elements, we can define that the Pixel 10 should gain autonomy.

Between the Tensor G5 and the new modem, there are two crucial elements that often involve battery performance. There, they would be less energy -consuming and with a cooling system that should be redesigned, we could have a good surprise on the autonomy of these Pixel 10.
