The young man, seriously injured in the legs, had to be operated on. He must return to Switzerland as soon as possible, said the Department of Defense. An investigation was opened.
The exercise of the Swiss army in Austria, which started on Tuesday April 15, ends on May 9. He must provide precious lessons for the future of land forces, technological, tactical and logistical. About 160 German soldiers and 120 Austrians are associated with the exercise.
