In short:
  • The aperitif of the 20km of Lausanne attracted 410 festive participants.
  • Local craftsmen offered gastronomic specialties each kilometer.
  • The disguised runners enjoyed ramekin, baos and chocolate medals.
  • Four Hug nurses participated after their night guard.

The participants of the Aperitif’run did not sweat much on the course. But all promised us that they would come back next year. This gustativo-sports version of 20km from Lausanne was taken over on the race site. The 410 bibs left like hotcakes.

Coming often disguised, these runners like no other have run a little, but they especially chatted a glass in their hand by causing tasty little bites. The principle? Each kilometer, a craftsman from the region made a specialty to discover.

At the first kilometer, Noz Chocolatier offered succulent ramekins. “We received the ramekin bronze medal in the Lausanne competition at the table,” says Anne Lise Noz, the owner. We made 460 of them. They are homemade and their preparation took us a good part of the morning. ” Anne Lise Noz welcomed the runners disguised by flaming Rose and her colleague Marisa Da Silva as a squirrel!

The participants were no less inspired. The characters of the Mario video game were there, just like a clown, a fly or even Jesus! A group of Hug colleagues had put on buoys and antenna tiara. “The aperitifs brings together everything you like: alcohol, race and food, laugh Laura, Lea, Manon and Sharleen, four nurses who worked the previous night until 7:30 a.m. We slept for four hours and we came by train. In addition, transport was included in registration finance. ” The friends assured that they would go back to swimming, with their buoys. We didn’t check!

The ramekins were successful. Baos, cookies, kombucha, beer, wines and the chocolate medal too. “This is the first time we came,” says Tania, who came from Nyon with her friends Sandra, Caroline and Volodymyr. The goal was to have fun. We motivated ourselves to run. ” For Sandra, it was also “the opportunity to discover local products”. Jorge Cardoso’s chocolate medal stayed for a moment around their neck. “We keep it to taste it on the train,” said the four friends who will come back as an aperitif.
