Barely time to celebrate the historic weekend of Paris FC. Legion X, a group of ultra supporters from the club – that management did not recognize – just promoted in Ligue 1, was dissolved due to its involvement in “Violence” and “Degradations”according to a decree published on Sunday at Official Journal.
“The members of Legion X are involved on the one hand in violence, brawls or attempted brawls which caused several wounded and, on the other hand, in degradations committed against goods, in sports speakers or on their surroundings”justifies the decree, dated 1is May.
The Minister of the Interior, Bruno Retailleau, who wishes to restore order in the football stadiums, had announced 1is April that he was going to offer Prime Minister François Bayrou the dissolution of the group.
“These are not supporters of Paris FCthen reacted Pierre Ferracci, the president of the Parisian club, owned by the Arnault family and Red Bull. We take note with satisfaction of the will of the public authorities to dissolve this group. »»
-Two groups of Ultras from AS Saint-Etienne, the Magic Fans and the Green Angels, are also in the viewfinder of the Ministry of the Interior. But the latter, supported by the leaders of the Stéphanois club, have so far been spared.
