The success of the 4th football internship, organized by the Union Sportive des Rives du Lot was recognized by the greatest number, cleverly mixing football and extra-sports activities. The leaders thanked all the components that allow young people from 9 to 17 years old to flourish and immerse themselves for a short week in their passion (volunteers, parents, sponsors, elected officials, etc.).
We must not forget the educators (internal and outside the club), with spearheads “Zouze” Hattoum, which all manage the event with great involvement, respecting in particular the timing of the different sessions while trying to put young people in the best possible conditions. Moreover, Pierre Bourdet, the president of the Aveyron district, praised their commitment, just like Pascal Mazet, regional councilor, “for this formidable spirit of openness”. Karine Chassaing, president of the USRL, wanted to highlight a novelty with a partnership between the football school and LB Automobile (Garage Volkswagen, Ford de Decazeville) who supports the cause of Paulin Verdier, young adult of Millau and comic book designer, on the fight against myopathy. LB Automobile offered each child a comic book from the young designer. And it was an opportunity to educate young people about this cause.
