A mandate of pan -Canadian arrest was launched against one of the four accused in the file of violent assaults on homosexuals, lulled near a courtyard through the meeting application Grindr Last summer.
“The suspect was saved from the therapy of the Orford domain when he had the condition to be there 24 hours a day,” read a press release from the Sherbrooke Police Service shared on Friday.
Thomas Marcoux, 22, would thus be sought after on the scale of Canada after saving himself from the therapy center where he was to be permanently, after being accused of assault and possession of weapons for attacks in August 2024.
On the evening of August 7, the accused and three other men would have made an appointment, in turn, to two homosexual men via the meeting application Grindrnear the Larocque school, then on rue Gillespie, in Sherbrooke.
One of his co -accused, Tristan Gilbert, 19, also pleaded guilty last January with armed assault, when he admitted that he had struck the first victim using a bruising object and the second with metal bar.
The two victims would also have been sprayed with Cayenne pepper, he had admitted, scoped with a sentence of one year in prison for his involvement.
Among the four accused, three, of which Gilbert, were confessing. It is not clear where Thomas Marcoux was returned.
The 22 -year -old man with people and brown hair weighs 120 pounds and measures 5 feet 5 inches, according to the Sherbrooke police, who requires the help of the population to put their hands on the collar.
