Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week is preparing its 2025 edition and wants to seduce foreigners

The Barcelona event specializing in nuptial fashion is preparing a new edition even more ambitious than the previous ones. From April 23 to 27, the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week show will again take place in Fira de Barcelona. 44 designers will participate in the parades, while the commercial meeting organized in parallel during the last four days of the event will bring together nearly 450 brands from 32 countries.

“We are going to organize the most important and most important nuptial fashion meeting to date. BBFW is no longer just a fair, it is a project that goes much further. It is an essential meeting point for the sector, where the trends of tomorrow are defined, where innovation is born, where creativity overflows and where new alliances and opportunities are forged for all actors in the sector,” Caro.

The event is determined to reaffirm itself as the reference of its sector worldwide. The parades will take place from April 23 to 26 with the participation of renowned claws such as Yolancris, Isabel Sanchis, The Atelier by Jimmy Choo, Ines Di Santo, Sophie and here is or Demetrios. As part of the BBFW consolidation strategy on foreign markets, all parades will be broadcast in live streaming and delayed on its website and digital platforms.

One of the highlights of the event will be the global launch of Vivienne Westwood’s wedding line. The British iconic brand will present its “Vivienne Westwood Bridal 2026“ Vivienne Westwood 2026 “model, made up of 30 models unveiled in a Claustro of the Universidad in Barcelona. It will take place as part of Barcelona Bridal Night, an appointment during which a haute couture designer presents his nuptial fashion creations. Marchesa, Viktor & Rolf, Elie Saab and Giambattista Valli preceded Vivienne Westwood.

Organized by Fira de Barcelona with the support of the Departement of Empresa I Treball of the Catalonia region, the meeting will also have a showroom space where international haute couture brands will present their proposals, including Vivienne Westwood, Giambattista Valli, Elie Saab, Viktor & Rolf, Stéphane Rolland and Georges Hobeika. In order to display its commitment to local talent and crafts, the BBFW will exhibit workshop creations like Clay Moss, Inmacle and Anne Cabané in her space “The Edit Barcelona“.

The third edition of the Barcelona Bridal & Fashion Awards prizes will reward sustainability and innovation in the nuptial sector during a gala presented by the American Randy Fenoli. The selected brands will compete for the prize for the best wedding dress, the best collection and the best advertising campaign, departed by a jury formed by 22 international experts.
