(Winnipeg) Star striker Mark Scheifle will not be in uniform for the Winnipeg jets in the seventh match of their first round series against the Blues of St. Louis Sunday evening in the capital of Manitoba.

Head coach Scott Arniel presented an update of Scheifele’s state of health after the morning training of jets on Sunday.
Scheifele left the skating rink in the first period of the fifth game due to an injury whose nature was not revealed, after he had received two solid updates. He then missed the sixth meeting, that the Blues won 5-2 on Friday in St. Louis to force the presentation of a decisive duel between the two rivals of the NHL central section.
The club playing at home has won all matches so far. However, the games played in Winnipeg were tighter than those disputed in St. Louis and the absence of a player with the offensive talent of Scheifele could be felt.
In five playoffs this season, Scheifele has collected two goals and four assistance.
The winning club will come across the iron with the Dallas stars in the second round.
