At the end of the week of May 4, the price of SJC gold ingots was generally listed by SJC, Doji and PNJ companies at around 119.3 million VND/Tael for the purchase and 121.3 million VND/Tael for sale, an increase of 300,000 VND/Tael compared to the end of last week.
However, some other companies also have differences in the prices of gold ingots. Bao Tin Minh Chau sells SJC gold ingots for 121 million VND/Tael; MI Hong is sold for 119 million VND/Tael.
Likewise, the price of rings and gold jewelry at $ 99.99 also has differences between gold stores. The MI Hong company exchanged gold rings at 114 million VND/Tael for purchase and 115 million VND/Tael for sale, stable compared to the end of yesterday. Meanwhile, other companies sold gold rings at a higher price of 116.5 million VND/Tael.
The price of gold ingots and SJC gold rings has fluctuated in a narrow range in recent days, in the context where many companies and gold shops are still on vacation for the April 30 holidays.

Gold prices on the domestic market stayed at a high level last week despite a sharp drop in world prices.
On the international market, the price of gold has closed the negotiation week today at 3,239 USD/OCE, down approximately 80 USD/OCE compared to last weekend (around 2.5 million VND/Tael). Gold prices have dropped due to investor pressure on profits, rapid resumption of the US dollar and more positive developments linked to trade negotiations between the United States and China.
By planning the price for gold prices next week, there is a fierce struggle between the opinions of analysts and investors, according to Kitco.
More specifically, in a survey of Wall Street, 18 analysts participated in the response, of which only 28 % said that gold prices would increase, 50 % said that gold prices would decrease and the remaining 22 % predicted that gold prices would remain stable. Experts have said for two consecutive weeks that gold prices will hardly increase in the short term.

The price of the SJC Golden Lingot is nearly 3 million VND/Tael of its historic peak.
On the other hand, the online Main Street survey revealed that of the 273 investors who responded, 52 % said that gold prices would increase, 29 % said that gold prices would drop and 19 % have said that gold prices would remain stable.
Some opinions indicated that the price of gold was maintained above 3,200 USD and increased slightly up to 3,270 USD/ounce, but could not maintain the increase and have dropped again. The resumption of the US dollar and the possibility of new increases in interest rates lead to disadvantages for gold prices in the coming days.
Currently, the world price of gold converted according to the indicated exchange rate is approximately 102.3 million VND/Tael, or about 18 million VND/Tael less than the Golden Lingots SJC and around 13 million VND/Tael less than the gold rings.
