A ski hiker was found dead on Saturday May 3 at the Roland breach, a natural hole in the cliffs around the Gavarnie circus.
Leaving alone on April 30, this 58-year-old Landes, professor at the agricultural high school in Sabers, was to find friends two days later in a Haut-Pyrenean refuge.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of his death.
