-Upon arrival of the Doubs firefighters, the 1200 m2 hangar of the agricultural building, located rue Gustave Courbet, in Belmont in the Doubs, was completely ie. The incident occurred on Friday, May 2, 2025 in the evening, around 8 p.m. The hangar contained agricultural machinery and three tonnes of fertilizer.
It is a hydraulic device made up of three spears that has managed to turn off the fire. Thanks to the arrival of help, the fertilizer and a milking room were spared. No victim is to be deplored.
During the intervention, a 300 -meter safety perimeter was established with the help of the police. Firefighters from Valdahon, Etlans, First Plateau, Sancey, Gilley, Ornans, Besançon, Pontarlier and Baume-les-Dames were deployed on the spot for a total of 35 men at the height of the intervention.
For the moment, the causes of the fire have not been specified. An investigation is outstanding to find out the reasons for the start of fire.
