The Lacaune rescue center has hosted two joint courses, combining basic formation and improvement.
The level 1 fire course, under the responsibility of the Chief Warrant Officer Antonin Bousquet, aims to initiate the new recruits of Lacaune, Murat and Albi (in all 7 trainees) to train in the basic techniques of urban fires. The level 2 fire course, under the direction of Lieutenant Mikaël Matha, allows you to acquire the capacities of chief apparatus for all machines.
The six trainees from various centers in the department are faced with the various situations they will be able to meet during their interventions, whether for housing fires, Voltaic panels or gas leaks.
As Lieutenant Mikaël Matha confides, it is the first time on the mountain that the two courses have been twinned to allow the oldest to share their experience with the youngest.
The Center chief sends his sincere thanks to partner establishments, from Lacaune or surroundings, which have validated the various intervention sites. Thank you therefore to the managers of Carrefour Market, Gédimat, Ragt, the Château de Calmels, the Théron Masonry company in La Trivalle as well as the departmental council which lent its road premises.
