Welcome to Tadjikistan and the Grand Chelem de Douchanbé, one of the most dynamic events in the world judo circuit. The arena was crowded, requiring the development of a fan zone outdoors and an additional space for the thousands of local judokas, demonstrating once again that judo is the number 1 sport in Tajikistan.

In -48 kg, Anudari Jamsran faced Wenna Zhuang. Zhuang dominated the fight with a Yuko, when less than a minute from the end, Jamsran managed to score Ippon and win his first gold medal in the world judo circuit.

An exceptional feat for the young Mongolian.

The president of the Judo Federation of the Autonomous Mountain Region of Badakhshan, Mr. Nuri Sharifov, was present to put the medals.

Among the -60 kg, Balabay Aghayev defeated the local favorite Mehrzod Sufiev thanks to a fantastic performance. After a waza-ari, he chained with an arm key, forcing Sufiev to abandon, to mark Ippon.

Aghayev was delighted to win a new gold medal!

He received his medal from Mr. Zulfikor Gulahmadzoda, President of the Tajikistan Youth and Sports Committee.

Among the -52 kg, the world medalist and Olympic Amandine Buchard faced Mukhayyo Akhmatova. Buchard dominated all day and continued in the final. After having skillfully brought her opponent to the ground, she quickly obtained a Shime-Waza.

Keeping the pressure tirelessly, she forced submission and won a brilliant victory by Ippon.

She received her medal from Ms. Shabnam Rahimzoda, first vice-president of the Tajikistan youth and sports committee.

In -66 kg, Nurali Emomali faced Obid Dzhebov, a 100 % Tadjike meeting. A resounding ippon has raised the public, ensuring Emomali the first national place in this category.

The medals were given by Mr. ISMOIL Mahmadzoir, president of the TADJIKE Federation of Judo.

In -57 kg, Sarah Leonie Cysique faced Natalia Elkina. A grounding offered him the victory and his second gold medal in Grand Colem!

She received the gold medal from Mr. Vladimir Barta, sports director of the FIJ.

Local judokas illuminated the arena, notably Madina Qurbonzoda, 17, who won a historic bronze medal!
