On the occasion of the fête work of 1er May 2025, the president of the Ivorian Popular Front (FPI), Pascal Affi N’Guessan, made an address.

The opponent reaffirmed his commitment to work for an Ivory Coast where work will be precisely remunerated, protected, valued.

“A Côte d’Ivoire where each worker, each worker, will be able to aspire to a decent life, in social justice and respect for her rights,” said former Ivorian Prime Minister.

He welcomed with respect for all those who, by their work, participate in the construction of our nation, before launching a pressing call to Government Ivorian.

“It is urgent that the State gives them the attention and respect they deserve by seriously leaning on their claims and by releasing, in the name of union freedom, the teacher and unionist Ghislain Duggary Assy (…)”, he wished, before concluding.

“Persistent unemployment, galloping informality, precariousness of employment, stagnation of wages to an ever higher cost of living. These realities should not be trivialized. They call deep reforms, a strong political will and a sincere social dialogue, ”concluded Affi N’Guessan.
