The film Thunderbolts*currently at the cinema, concludes phase 5 of the MCU and is already preparing the rest. Two post-generic scenes are on the program: one is relatively anecdotal while the other is much more important.
Released at the cinema on April 30, Thunderbolts* is in the general opinion a good film by Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Better in any case than Captain America: Brave New Worldbland feature film and without relief, released in mid-February. It makes it possible to conclude on a positive note on phase 5 of the MCU, whose quality has been in jag.
Of course, who says film belonging to the MCU, says post-generic scene. And even post-generic scenesin the plural, because unlike the previous film, there are two this time. Two sequences which trace, for one, the future of the Thunderbolts as a team of anti-heroes and for the other, the continuation of the cinematic universe of Marvel. Just that.
This goes without saying: the rest of this article will unveil the content of said scenes. Do not advance more if you want to keep the surprise.

The first final scene of Thunderbolts*
In this sequence, we discover Alexei Shostakov, alias Red Guardian (played by David Harbor), in civilian clothes, in the aisles of a grocery store. He then crosses a lady making her shopping, to whom he shows the visual appearing on a packet of cereals. We understand the reason for his enthusiasm: above an image of the Thunderbolts team is printed.
It echoes Red Guardian’s attachment to the idea of being a superhero. Moreover, this is reflected at various times in the film: Red Guardian visibly appreciates the existence of this small group, of which he is a member, and which has his own nickname. Also, appearing on a cereal box is a kind of consecration.

In the grocery store, the lady does not share the rapture of Red Guardian, and hastens to throw the package he has held out. A session that is intended to be both funny and embarrassing, and which is used to suggest the marketing that unfolds to make Thunderbolts the new Avengers (New Avengers) – which is reflected in the redesigned costumes.
In comics, the new Avengers are a well identified team, which welcomed various members. Originally, it included members as iconic as Wolverine, Spider-Man, Iron Man or Captain America. Subsequently, the workforce has evolved. In MCU films, we are heading about something else, including Thunderbolts.
It is also necessary to put this in connection with the events of Brave New World. The “rebranding” of the Thunderbolts in New Avengers echoes the request of the American president Thaddeus Ross, alias Red Hulk, made to Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, to reform the Avengers – which will be part of Joaquin Torres.

The second final scene of Thunderbolts*
In this second scene, more than a year spent after the end of the film. We are in the famous Avengers tower and we discover the new costumes of Thunderbolts, now identified as the new Avengers. A marketing renewal that causes legal bibes with… Sam Wilson on this subject.
Indeed, the ex-Faucon become Captain America (Anthony Mackie) is angry to see the use by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia-Louis Dreyfus), the boss of the Thunderbolts, of a “brand” as iconic as that of the Avengers. For Captain America, this is done without authorization and in short, encroaches on the project that he is supposed to build.
We understand in an allusion made by Bucky Barnes, alias the winter soldier (Sebastian Stan), that Sam Wilson does not bother, while the two men are supposed to be close (cf Falcon and the winter soldier). For his part, Red Guardian offers to settle this with a more daring reformulation, of the “New Avengerz” type.

Are present Red Guardian, Yelena Belova (Black Widow, played by Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes, John Walker (US Agent, played by Wyatt Russell) and Ava Starr (Ghost, played by Hannah John-Kamen). Antonia Dreykov (Taskmaster, played by Olga Kurylenko) is not there, but instead, there are … Sentry (played by Lewis Pullman).
The scene thus shows the threat that hovers on the team, discredited by a historic member of the Avengers (SAM), and who cannot even mobilize his best asset, Sentry, because of the danger that his dark side weighs: the void. It was then that a sound signal was finally noticed: an object would have entered the earth’s atmosphere.
The sequence then shows a slender and elegant spacecraft, but which seems to come from another dimension. A new threat? No, future new allies. After a moment, we ended up noticing a completely familiar logo: that of the fantastic four. The junction is now made with the next film, expected for the end of July 2025.
