Launched in 2020, the Toyota Gr Yaris had already received major modifications in 2024: revised bumper, redesigned dashboard and improved driving position, arrival of an automatic transmission and power of the 1.6 Rise upwards … However, barely a year later, Toyota again reviews its sports car.
In order to continue continuously, Toyota Gazoo Racing engineers have indeed reworked Yaris so that it is always more efficient and efficient. The bomb therefore receives a more direct power steering, thanks to new settings, while the chassis is revised thanks to new, more rigid bolts. This also plays a role in stability in a straight line, and on suspensions which also benefit from new settings. In addition, the eight -speed automatic transmission is reworked with optimized gear changes. Toyota also specifies having enlarged the footrest to “improve the piloting experience with two pedals”.
Equipment revised upwards
But what really changes is the equipment. The brand integrates an optional vertical hand brake into the catalog, inspired by the rally. Presented on several GR Yaris concepts in recent months, it is now offered as an option with a price set at € 600. The 18,500 € “track” forged “track” rims, at the option of € 2,500. The brand announces to have extended the standard endowment: front and rear parking radars, dead angles detector with secure output of the occupants, JBL audio system with 8 speakers … The front seats and the steering wheel are also standard heated, except if the vehicle is equipped with the Verical Main Brake option.

Available at the order from May 2, the Toyota Gr Yaris sees its rates slightly increase: it goes to € 49,950 in manual box version, or € 52,450, being equipped with an automatic transmission. To this is added an exorbitant ecological penalty, since due to CO2 emissions greater than 193 g/km, the city car imposes an additional tax of € 70,000 in 2025. Reason for which Toyota specifies that the number of copies will be limited, despite the success of the sportswoman at the survivor’s three-cylinder. In France, only 50 units will be marketed.
