It will be Christmas six months in advance for happy spectators of Aluna Festival on June 26, 27 and 28. For the fourth year, Fred Champey, musician and owner of the Music Universe store, in Valence, will turn into Santa Claus.

Indeed, in collaboration with the director of the Ardéchois festival Didier Viricel, the merchant Drômois offers five guitars and a ukulele (worth more than 2,000 euros and on sale obviously in Valence) which will be won during the evenings of June.

“This year, I offer these instruments of the French brand Lâg. These are folks or electroacoustic guitars that can be plugged into an amplifier. Ukulele is obviously a nod to Julien Doré [sur scène le 27 juin, NDLR]. »

Because the beautiful story does not stop there. Indeed, through Didier Virical, Fred Champey goes to artists’ lodges and is dedicated these guitars. What to forge pretty memories, “especially with Vianney whom I know and who bought one of his first guitars in my store. With Thomas Dutronc, I played a piece with him in his dressing room. This year Julien Doré, Ben Mazué, Eddy de Pretto, Soprano, Pierre Garnier, and Jean-Louis Aubert accepted. »»

He himself takes the opportunity to sign his guitar through all his meetings …

How to win them?

Now it remains to be seen how to win these little jewels? Didier Viricel lifts the veil. “Influencers will make an online game to win it, we also directly from the Aluna site and bulletins will be deposited on the stand Dauphiné liberated [installé sur le site du festival, NDLR]. On culture pass, a game is also set up to allow backstage access. »»

Offering these instruments is important for the two men. “It brings a magical side and can make people want to get into music, we hope. »»

A universe that brings them together. Fred Champey is still a musician in the group Les Z’enchantuses, and Didier Viricel, was, as he explains: “When I was young, I played bass in a group. But there, I no longer have time. »»

Because his gaze is already on the 2027 edition. “For the 20th anniversary, we have already started to block artists for programming. »»
