Emmie Schüssler, a nutritionist dietician, grew up in the village.
Mayor Gérard Barthez, accompanied by Suzanne Arnaud, assistant, in the presence of healthcare professionals in the village, officially handed over the keys to his cabinet to Emmie Schüssler, a nutritionist dietician, who has just settled in premises of the old presbytery, property of the town, located 20, avenue de la Mer. This building, having lost its religious function, became a health center, hosting in 2019 Physiotherapy office, then a medical office. He experienced the presence of a dental office for a few years and also houses two dwellings.
Emmie is a 28 -year -old young woman who arrived in the village in 1999, at the age of 2. During her childhood and adolescence, she experienced a healthy and balanced life, liked spending time in the garden and being in contact with hens, geese, rabbits … This has certainly helped to awaken her taste for plant benefits and healthy diet. She loves to crunch life to the fullest. Very early on, she had two passions: nutrition and sport. She notably practiced dance and participated in classical and contemporary dance competitions, taught to ski at the age of 3, practiced rugby, likes to run, cycling … etc. She combined her two passions during her studies. After three years, she obtained her diploma as a bachelor specializing in nutrition for athletes, then she spent a BTS of dietetics before undertaking studies in staps, obtaining a master’s degree in ends and validating an AccSS diploma (animation, marketing of sports services).
She also worked in London for three months for a large brand of sports equipment. Professionally, she decided to combine sport and nutrition by becoming a dietician. She will therefore be able to exercise in her village. It will be present on Thursdays and Friday mornings.
