Jean-Marie Kula’s golf course, former professional player and golf teacher, has been open for a year and a half at a place called Epinay, in Saint-Fort, delegate commune of Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne.

The clientele consists of amateurs who come to train, children supervised by the Sports Service of Château-Gontier. But also companies in seminar and who take the opportunity to do an initiation internship.

A new interior green

The objectives in terms of equipment are achieved with the installation of a bunker, a 9-hole putting green of 200 m² near the clubhouse, twelve practicing carpet locations to practice with targets that can go more than 200 m. An interior putting was installed to play when it rains.

On the course, we meet Didier Pottier, 64 years old. The retiree, a former cyclist who practiced tennis, finds in golf “Technical rigor”. He finds that the structure is “Really adapted. and nearby. Before, you had to go to Laval or Sablé-sur-Sarthe. »»

Dominique Bourcier comes at least four times a week. “The structure is conducive to training, the frame is rural. It is a sport that we can practice as a couple, I often come with my wife. It is inexpensive, contrary to what one might think. We meet friends there. We walk, it’s a complete sport ”.

On the site, there are also two lodgings with PMR standards (people with reduced mobility).

Every dayfrom 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., except Wednesday (12 p.m. – 7 p.m.). Year’s subscription: € 350 for adults, € 250 for those under 25 and € 150 for children under 18. Contact: Jean-Marie Kula on 06 80 63 27 51.
