If Ferrari has the strongest duo of the current F1 according to the Ambassador of Ferrari, the former F1 pilot Marc Gené, it is also sad to no longer see Carlos Sainz within the Scuderia according to him.

Gené underlined the excellent collaboration between Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, who “Mutually stimulate”even if the results are long overdue. The Spaniard, however, noted the upcoming competitiveness of Sainz at Williams F1, a team that does better than Ferrari in Miami!

“It’s the best duet. I don’t think we can have a more efficient duo.”

“Charles is at a very good stage of his career; he has matured a lot. He was the teammate of Carlos, who is also very applied, very good technically, very organized, who worked so hard … He was the teammate of Seb (Vettel) … Charles was very lucky to have two teammates so good.”

“Consequently, even with Lewis as a teammate, they work very well together. They are not in favor of politics. I can really say that they work very well together and that they stimulate each other.”

“Of course, I was sorry for Carlos, because I am Spanish and I have a very good relationship with him. But when you have the opportunity to have lewis in the team, and it is a love story that asked to realize, a mutual love story, you understand the decision that Ferrari took.”
