SOuve yourself. In 2024, Tudor’s “Born to Dare” spirit intensified. After sailing, rugby or cycling, the house has redirected to motor sport. A coincidence? Not really if we remember the links that the brand woven with the sector like the Tudor Watch Racing Team in the late 1960s, the realization of its “Montecarlo” chronographs from 1971, to the recent IMSA Tudor United Sportscar Championship. Last year, Tudor returned to the starting grid with the new Formula 1 Visa Cash App RB (VCARB) team, currently eighth in the manufacturers’ ranking. A stable belonging to Red Bull Racing and already well known to Formula 1 fans, previously called SCUDERIA TORO ROSSO then Scuderia Alphanauri. After having kept the same pilots for a while, namely Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda, Visa Cash App RB now welcomes two new figures which, like their single-seater, wear the colors of Tudor: the Frenchman Isack Hadjar and the New Zealand Liam Lawson.

During the announcement of this new partnership, Tudor had made a unique watch, exclusively reserved for pilots of the Visa Cash App RB team. It was a Black Bay Ceramic with a blue dial that F1 (and watchmaking) aficionados had been able to spot Ricciardo and Tsunoda wrist during an official shoot. But this reference, which was to remain a team watch, later became official to the delight of motor racing enthusiasts, Tudor announcing the arrival of this new Black Bay in his current collection. Today, at the time of the Miami Grand Prix which returns to Florida for its fourth edition since its addition to the Calendar of Formula 1 in 2022, Tudor presents its new Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25”. A state -of -the -art chronograph launched in a limited edition of 2025 copies and cut for motorsport.

A carboncase

On the aesthetic side, Tudor takes up the design and functional arrangement of the famous Black Bay Chrono. The shield house, however, has made many efforts to differentiate this new reference from the standard version. Carbon 25 notably sports a carbon fiber box with fixed telescope and integrated tachymmetric scale for a modern and sporty look. Its diameter is 42 mm, 1 mm more than that of the original Black Bay Chrono. Tudor specifies here that the case is finer than that of steel models, reaching 14.3 mm against 14.4 mm. The seal is 200 meters while the crown, the pushes and the bottom of the case are in titanium with black PVD coating.

On the domed dial “Racing White”, there is a wink supported on the livery of the 2025 season of the racing cars of the Formula 1 VCarb stable. The association of colors offered is daring: an opal white enhanced with touches of blue on the logos and the face. The built -in meters are also made of carbon fiber, the date disc is matching black and the measurement depth is red racing. The needles and indexes, all of classic design, including the snowflake needles (which take up the signature drawing of the tudor divers since 1969) are decorated with a black outline and white super-luminova.

To perfect its racing spirit, the watch is carried on a hybrid leather-cautbucker bracelet with tire pattern, closed by an ardillon buckle and decorated with blue stitching. Under the hood, the Black Bay Chrono Carbon 25 keeps a point engine: the MT5813 caliber. This COSC certified automatic chronograph and equipped with a column wheel offers a power reserve of around 70 hours. Exclusive Tudor, it is equipped with a silicon spiral and a variable inertia pendulum. This, without forgetting an operating range from -2 to +4 seconds per day. Hoping that this is a chance once on the asphalt to the pilots of the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls stable which will set off in 11th place for Isack Hadjar and in 15th place for Liam Lawson.
