“It’s a good start to the season. I only lacked victory, it’s done. I’m really happy. Honestly, management was not easy because it attacked everywhere, it was quite disorganized. I did a lot. I even wondered, at one point, I had not done too much. Fortunately, I still had. It was a complicated sprint but it’s nice to win. I’m really happy. We missed a little on the Pévèle so it’s really good to win here. I will now chain with the peace race under the colors of the French team. I take the road tomorrow (Monday). »»J. White

-“It was a very nice race, quite tense and fast from the start. We got on good showers, it was not easy in the descents in particular but it quickly calmed down after the first falls … We didn’t see much so there was no excess. I had fairly linear sensations even if I was not at the top on the very beginning of the race.
We went out about fifteen in the penultimate bump, we managed to widen the gap and we were able to play the victory in the sprint. It’s great to be able to get a podium here. I felt that I was good for a few shopping, it gives confidence for the rest of the season. I get closer to victory.
I will be in Olliergues next weekend with Etupes. I will try to stay on this good dynamic, on a difficult race, with the classic Alps in line. »»T. Gantois

“I knew it was a very difficult race, I always had to stay in the first positions. This is what I did. I followed the attacks in the bumps but I noticed that each time, it was calmed a little after the summit. I wondered if it was not going to finish in a small peloton, or go out in the last bumps. I was attentive then I took a step ahead. A group has returned with two of my teammates, Soan Ruesche and Timothée Coudière. We did a very good team job but I was a bit far in the sprint for the victory, unfortunately. I still do 3rd and we win the team ranking. It gives me confidence, it does a lot of good after a very difficult start to the season. I was looking for myself, I had less shots, it reboosts me for the future. I will review my ambitions for the future. »»G. PRESSE
