From 1is As of May 31, Amiens Métropole participated in the national holiday “May by bicycle”. From May 3, vibrate to the rhythm of the bicycle, with walks and animations provided in the metropolis.
This unifying and festive operation, initiated by the Ministry of Ecological Transition and the Ministry of Sports in May 2020, a vocation to bring together around the bicycle, so that it is used and adopted everywhere in Franceby all, the rest of the year. For the occasion, Amiens Métropole and its partners offer an entertainment programbike challenge, walks and workshops, with a highlight, on Saturday May 3.
The program:
Saturday May 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
- The Village of Activities (Rue des 3 Cailloux, Place René Goblet and rue de Noyon): Ecocitoyen merry -go -round, Fanfare, Runny bicycle test track, Battle bike, Circuit bike, custom bicycle exhibition, mechanical challenge workshop for children, lucky wheel with lots to win, photo cabin etc.
- 25 km bike ridebetween Amiens and Lueilly (departure at 1:30 p.m. from the Picard hikers’ union stand, rue de Noyon / Departure at 2:30 p.m. in Saleux in front of the town hall)
- Lying bicycle ride (Departure from Place René Goblet every hour between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.). You can book here.
- BMX demo (at 2 p.m., 3.30 p.m. and 5 p.m., rue des Trois Cailloux)
- Free bicycle marking (in the morning by Buscyclette)
- Children’s circuit from 4 to 12 years old (afternoon by Buscyclette)
Continuously, from May 1 to 31 :
- The Tour Expo – From March 28 to July 28, 2025 | On the grids of the Picardy Museum (rue de la République). A retrospective from 1932 to 2025 on the great history of the Tour de France in Amiens.
- Exhibition 12 months, 4 seasons, 1 bike! – 1is At May 31 | Rue des 3 Cailloux. From January to January to June, from the April showers, from April to the August sun, bicycle is all year round! This urban exhibition highlights those who roll in all times, with passion and determination.
- L’exposition Wwoof Tandem Tour – From May 12 to 31 | Bernheim library (3, rue Georges Guynemer). Retrospective in photos and drawings of the tandem trip to Europe of two Amiens Pauline and Gus.
- The Challenge Geovelove To combine as many kilometers as possible (minimum 50km) and try to win many prizes.
- Vélam price subscription at € 15 instead of € 25 – 1is As of May 31, free on May 3 and 4.
