Eight runners at the front
From the second round, after about 18 kilometers, a group of eight runners managed to detach from a peloton made up of around fifty units. The breakaway, composed of most favorites of the day, Thomas Courcier (VS Fertois), Quentin Drevet (Chalettois handlebar), Lévi Matifas (CM Aubervilliers) or even the outgoing winner Clément Breton (Sablé Sarthe Cyclisme), seemed to be a well -gone to be reviewed again. In mid-race, a group of counterattacks, also made up of eight runners, nevertheless managed to get closer to 25 seconds, without doing the junction.

Just under twenty kilometers from the finish, Fertois Thomas Courcier launched hostilities by setting the first attack in the fight for the final victory. He was however joined after only a few kilometers at the front and it was the winner of the day who was offensive at the top of the last ascent. If he could not win everyone from the wheel, since Quentin Drevet remained hung up to the sprint, Lévi Matifas was ultimately the most swift.
