Third in the trial on Saturday and second in cross-country on Sunday, Robin Rey Barllon won the regional trophy of the young mountain bike on Sunday in Montfaucon-en-Velay.
The young Yssingelais was rewarded for his regularity. Without winning, neither the trial nor the XCO, the U17 won the scratch classification of the two cumulative events thanks to a third place on Saturday and a second Sunday.
The last race was intense between Alban Cohendet (Mountain Bike Clic) and Robin Rey Barllon. The member of the Cyclo Club Montfaucon tried an attack after having stuck to the notched wheel of his opponent. But on very narrow trails, he was redeemed by his opponent who raises the arms of the race.
Other Altiligerian victories: Hugo Maurin from UC Puy-en-Velay in U13, Léo Pichon de Golène Evasion in U11 and Melina Frossard in U11.
