This May 3, 2025 is a day of celebration for the Lassalle clan, since the former deputy Jean Lassalle celebrates his 70th anniversary. A birthday that he most certainly celebrates with his family of which he is so close. Family of four children, and several grandchildren, whom he built with his always, the discreet Pascale.
If her husband is a political and media figure, Pascale Lassalle prefers her life far from looks, protected from the curious in the family village of Lourdios-Hire, in Béarn. She still came out of the shadows on an occasion, and not the least: to welcome her husband at Pau airport on April 27, 2006, after her hunger strike in the National Assembly. The deputy then protested against the transfer of 150 jobs from a Toyal Group factory in the Aspe valley.

This hunger strike which was not in vain, since an agreement had finally been signed between Nicolas Sarkozy, then Minister of Spatial Planning, Masahiro Aoki, number two of Toyo Aluminum. When she found her husband at the airport, Pascale Lassalle had ignored her modesty and let her joy – and her relief – in front of the photographers.

A family united around rugby
Three years later, Jean Lassalle’s wife had found himself in spite of herself under the spotlight, after a doubtful joke of her husband. Passing through the agricultural show in 2009, the deputy for the Pyrénées-Atlantiques launched: “My favorite pig?” It’s a little slut … it’s my wife! »»
-More recently, it was with the family, with children and grandchildren that Pascale and Jean Lassalle were filmed. In 2023, the cameras of France 3 followed the couple’s three sons, Geoffray, Amaury and Thibault Lassalle, rugby players for the same US Aspoise club (in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques). A passion for the round ball inherited from their father, who now encourages them since the stands with his wife Pascale. In addition to their three boys, they have a daughter, named Alizée.

While he spends the 70th anniversary, Jean Lassalle moves away from political life a little more to devote himself to a new chapter in his life: the scene. The son of Berger, ex-candidate for presidential elections, and former participant of the game “The traitors” on M6, is indeed embarking on the one man show with a new personal show, “my anecdotes of a life”, which will start next October at the Théâtre de la Tour Eiffel in Paris.
