TV Magazine. – How did you find yourself in “LOL: Who laughs, goes out!” ?
Seth gueko. – I have always shown that I had an exacerbated pen. I think that the authors of “lol” – whose son of Alain Chabat – are fans of my way of writing and that my title My couillasse in which I say: “I hold you, I drag you with the Barbichette. What was your reaction when production called you to offer you to succeed Afida Turner ?
I spoke a little. I asked them to explain to me what their goal was because I am not funny in itself. They replied that they knew my punchlines and thought they were going to make people laugh. Except that they put pressure on me by contacting me the day before filming. I told them that I did not write punchlines in 24 hours. I am not part of this style of rap, my texts are written as a stand-up show, each word is chosen, weighed and thoughtful.

How did you prepare your service?
I did not have much room for maneuver since they called me the day before filming. I am a rapper, but I am a perfectionist. I wanted to arrive with a super serious posture and a tailor -made written text. I found fun to play with the character I created. I really step back on my music, I can laugh at myself and for “lol”, I wanted to assume my caricature. I told myself that I had to go to the stupid to make people laugh so I wrote: “I drag you with the Barbi’Schneck”.

It was stressful. I had the pressure. I was wondering how I was going to do it. I was afraid that my fork tongue. The nightmare of a rapper is to sing in front of an audience where there is no one and people are not receptive. I sometimes have this dream and there, I threw myself into my own nightmare.

How long have you waited before making your appearance?
I waited ten hours! I was locked in a lodge because no one should see me. From time to time, I had the right to look on a screen to see who was still in the game. When I got to the studio, I had energy but by waiting, I had no more because I was tired.

It was horrible. In the morning, just before filming, I made a rehearsal in front of Philippe Lacheau, the producers, all the technicians … Everyone was laughing. Leaving, I told myself that I had not been funny, that I had spoiled my Presta and that my image was going to be impacted. Behind the scenes, they reassured me by telling me that it was great, that the game was not to laugh but that it was going to make viewers laugh. Laugh about yourself without succeeding in making others laugh is very hard. I think I would have been funnier if I had been faced with people who don’t know me that guys who have already listened to me.

There too, it was hard. I was not in the game, I landed after spending ten hours like a cage lion in the lodges, I had heat climbs, stress. Philippe Lacheau, who loves me, offered to stay. Except that I am not super comfortable. In the end, I did not find it funny, it fell flat. In addition, I did not have my glasses, they were forced to get bigger my clashes by giant on the sheets so that I can read them (laughs).

Have you seen what happened with Muriel Robin?
No nothing. I was just told that there was going to be delayed, that I had to wait another three hours. It’s a shame because I would have seen myself in front of her, I would have liked her to tell me: “Who is this big dwarf?”. The only thing I heard is that someone, a little cut-off, asked for a bottle of rosé. The technicians had to find one when we were Sunday evening.
