Spain is, at the moment, of the discovery, in Oviedo, of a “horror house”, fortunately less chilling than that of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès. Three children aged 8 to 10 have been found kidnapped for three years in a villa with always closed, completely unhealthy shutters, crowded with waste and without any access to the garden, but fortunately still alive. Parents say they have kept their children at home to “protect” them because they found them “very vulnerable”.
Three bunk oral masks
This kind of news item is found, alas, periodically in pathological personalities or victims of sects, to which is sometimes added a Diogenes syndrome*. Thus, for example, that in 2017 died, in France, a 16 -month -old girl, only fed with chestnut juice and rice milk by extremist vegan parents.
In the Spanish case, the obligation for children to wear three oral masks on each other all day and, when the parents arrest, their injunction to the police to also carry them clearly towards a sort of “long mental covid”.
It is that if most people think that the press likes to lather water where there is little soap, a small number of others think that reality must be much more serious than what the media say. So when power, reinforced by information means and social networks, forbids them to walk without a mask on a deserted beach in force 5, they conclude that such an virus will always be ready to jump on them.
Apocalypse gurus
Today, the vast field of ecology is the miracle fuel of the gurus of the Apocalypse, including Greta Thunberg et al Gore – more discreet, now that none of their predictions have proven – were the media leaders. While in the shadows, more discreet people worked on their own industrial interests.
It is a very comfortable situation that that of intellectuals (on the left, it goes without saying), because unlike most people – from the cantonnier to the line pilot – the denial of the facts of their baroque impulses only very rarely harms their careers. So they contine the debates by fear. Sometimes to ban cities from the vehicles of the poor to save their lungs, sometimes to stop meat for the good of our arteries or stop making children to protect the planet.
