At the head of Fort Boyard since 1990, Olivier Minne will join the private channel. He will take orders for one or more entertainment on M6 from September.
Fort Boyard viewers will no longer hear this famous sentence: “See you soon for new adventures, always further, always higher, always stronger”. Olivier Minne, the host of the historic television game, will leave France Television and France 2 to join M6 from the start of the next school year.
“Recognized animator and much appreciated by the general public, he joined the group to animate great entertainment,” the audiovisual group announced this Friday in a statement.

End of more than 30 years of Fort Boyard
This news comes to close a chapter of more than 30 years with this famous fort located a few kilometers off the island of Oléron. He had started presenting the television game on FR3 in 1990, before continuing on France 2. He also hosted several other programs including Eurovision junior or everyone has his say.

Olivier Minne should now run one or more programs on the private channel. “With his experience, his professionalism and the strong link he has created with viewers over the years. He reinforces the team of emblematic faces of the chain, ”said M6.
