The resignation of Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois as spokesperson for political training last March plunged Quebec Solidaire in a transition period, according to Mr. Zanetti who admitted that the last two years have been difficult for the party.
“I think Gabriel has brought great things. When it happened, it doubled the number of members, we increased the number of deputies to 10 in 2018. I think that the last two years have been very difficult for everyone. It is not that the responsibility of a single person. There, I think we had questioning, self -criticism. The internal crises that torn Quebec Solidaire and which ultimately pushed the former male spokesperson to the door are normal for a political party, he argued.
“I think it’s normal for democratic political parties to have debates, then have periods of crisis when it goes less well. But most political parties also go up them.
