Ontario parents are requesting public help to find their 22-year-old son, who has been missing for 70 days during a ski stay in Mont-Tremblant, in the Laurentians.
Liam Toman disappeared around 3 a.m. on February 2 after leaving a bar in this ski village north of Montreal following an evening spent supper and drinking with friends.
According to his family, he was last seen on the recording of a surveillance camera when he returned to his hotel, but he never entered it.
A last call and a final text were sent on February 2 of his phone around 3:15 am. Neither his bank account, his social media accounts nor his phone have been used since his disappearance.
His mother, Kathleen Toman, of Balsam Lake, Ontario, says that he had sent texts to his parents all evening and that he was usually in frequent communication with his family and friends. He remains in contact with us and tells us about his hobbies and what he does
she said during a telephone interview. It is not in the nature of Liam not to send us texts.
His parents and mother-in-law have been looking for him since, while Quebec Safety has carried out land research and by helicopter.
Few signs
On March 22, the parents said their son’s wallet was found outside Mont-Tremblant, not far from the place where he had been seen for the last time.

This sparked a second police research, this time with helicopters, dogs, VTThorseback researchers as well as volunteer research and rescue teams.
-A spokesperson for the Quebec Safety has confirmed that the police investigation is underway and that agents question witnesses and view video images.
Parents spent several days in Mont-Tremblant, distributing leaflets and sensitizing the public to the disappearance of their son. They also created a website, Liamtoman.com, which presents photos and a chronology of its latest trips.
Father, Chris Toman, says that the Mont-Tremblant region is very popular and that the family hopes that someone has seen something that could help find their son. It is a popular place, very frequented, where we see a lot of things and where there are a lot of interactions with young adults
he said.
If it is, someone has seen or remembers something.
The family asks anyone who is in the Mont-Tremblant region to view images of surveillance cameras or call the Sûreté du Québec or Crime failure
If she remembers having seen or heard something about Liam Toman.
This 22 year old young man measures 1.75 m, weighs 60 kg, has light brown hair and blue-gray eyes. He wore a dark and dark green coat, black pants, a green checkered sweater and a white and black striped tuque at the time of his disappearance.
The family’s website indicates that Liam Toman graduated as an electronic technician in Niagara college last spring. He is described as a sociable person who likes skiing, playing golf, playing video games, learning more about his car and spending time with his friends.
Family members remain focused on research and are grateful for the massive support they have received. However, the wait was unbearable.
We are stunned and it is surrealist
said Kathleen Toman. It’s a nightmare
added Chris.
Chris Toman indicates that the police have informed the family that a new ground research will start in the coming weeks, after the melting snow. However, the family hopes that a public member will remember a detail that could help their family find it more quickly.
While waiting to find Liam, we must consider all the possibilities, argued the mother. There is someone, someone who knows something.
