Many residents of Martres-Tolosane, were thus witnesses on Saturday to Sunday of a fairly impressive hail downwind around midnight. This episode fell on the Commingeoise city and left many traces on vehicles parked everywhere in the city center.
“I had never seen that, it is the first time that I have seen such a hail storm. It has been very localized in the heart of the city and the Montoulies and the Matet districts. All the cars that were in the heart of the city were affected,” says the mayor of the town, Loïc Gojard, whose windshield of his own vehicle was broken.

“I confirm in Martres-Tolosane, my car has large impacts and my rear headlights are broken,” said a surfer on social networks. According to the mayor, many residents also had their plastic garden sheds or their veranda affected by this bad weather.
