Bologna left-back Juan Miranda previews Tuesday’s major Champions League showdown between Inter Milan and Barcelona.

The two European giants produced a sensational battle in the first leg of the semi-final.

The Nerazzurri stunned the Catalunyan crowds by scoring two goals in the early going courtesy of Marcus Thuram’s backheel and Denzel Dumfries’ acrobatic strike.

Nevertheless, Lamine Yamal took the initiative, dragging the Blaugrana back with an astonishing solo goal. The home side then equalised from a fabulous collective play that culminated with Ferran Torres’ simple tap-in.

In the second period, Dumfries completed his brace, but Raphinha equalised once more from a long-range effort, ending the contest in a 3-3 draw.

Therefore, the second leg at San Siro is promising fireworks, with both sets of fans already dreaming about buying their Champions League Final tickets.

Nevertheless, both clubs still have one last step left on the road to Munich, but this will arguably be the toughest one yet.

Ahead of Tuesday’s big clash, Miranda offered his two cents, given that he’s familiar with both clubs.

Moreover, the full-back is a youth product of Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy.

Hence, the Spaniard has tipped his former employers to prevail thanks to Hansi Flick’s shrewdness. Nevertheless, he expects to see a thrilling encounter.

“We [Bologna] played well against them [Inter]but they have great players and are fighting for the Serie A title,” noted Miranda in his interview with SER Catalunya via FCinterNews.

“The Nerazzurri are a great team. The secret to beating them? Our game is very direct and every team we face is finding difficulties against us.

“As for Barcelona, they have more than enough weapons to beat Inter. Moreover, Hansi Flick certainly knows their weaknesses better than anyone else. We will see a great match.”

The much-anticipated second leg will kick on at 21:00 CET on Tuesday. The winner of this clash will book its place in the final and await the winner of Wednesday’s clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal.

The Ligue 1 champions prevailed in the first leg in North London by a single goal, so they’re heading to the second leg at home with a valuable advantage.
