A fatal accident occurred shortly after midnight, on the night of May 3, on Boulevard Thibeau, near rue Saint-Alexis.
When they arrived at the scene, the Trois-Rivières police patrollers found that a vehicle was involved in a road trip.
A reconstructionist of the Sûreté du Québec, specializing in collision scene, was dispatched to the site. He is assisted by an accident investigator from the Directorate of the Trois-Rivières police in order to carry out an expertise in the scene and the vehicle to determine the exact circumstances of the event.
-The vehicle’s passenger, an 18 -year -old woman, died of her injuries. The driver, an 18 -year -old man, was transported to hospital to treat minor injuries. His life would not be in danger.
The investigation is still underway to clarify the causes of the accident.
