R1. Stade Brestois (B) – Plougastel, Sunday (3 p.m.)
In R1, finishing first in the championship is not synonymous with direct rise on the upper floor.
Rather than opting for a play-off between the two champions of each group, the Brittany League has made the choice (via a vote of the clubs) of the mini-championship. At the end of the competition, we will count the number of points taken by each first against the classified teams from 2nd to 6th place to determine the only climb.
A scenario could make life easier for Brest (B): by finishing 1st in his hen, Saint-Malo (B), which has nine units ahead of Rennes CPB, could not go up if his team A does not access national. Secondly behind the Briochin stadium, the Falklands are now four units behind Saint-Brieuc. “We don’t have this kind of question yet. We have to do the job and it starts on Sunday with a match against Plougastel, a team that has always been able to cause us problems, ”tempers Franck Kerdilès.
Saint-Brieuc Ginglin is three points, and the Pontivyen stadium with four. As a reserve, Brest (B) is disadvantaged in the event of equality, the margin is therefore narrow. It will be necessary to win against Plougastel, Landerneau and Concarneau (B) then hoped for a helping hand of the upper floor to avoid uncertain apothecary calculations.
