In her family house in Bielle, not far from Arudy where she partially grew up with her mother and grandparents, she set up her workshop “Ideamemère” in 2022. Between two orders, she gives free rein to her imagination to make articles of Papetereies. Notebooks, recipes, passwords, agenda, photo album… or works of art and jewelry.

Their setting will depend on the papers it takes to recycle by preparing its own dough, falls of fabric, leather, canvases and even plants gleaned during its walks in Ossau valley. The success of these unique works is such that it is also impossible in recent days to find its small protected notebooks of a relief cover, made up of a unique decor.

In 2021, after having definitively shot the page of the National Education, she joined the Garric-Bouville workshops in Toulouse, before obtaining her CAP “Arts de la Bindure”, then specializing in the bookbinder-restaurant in the Hautes-Pyrénées Departmental Archives. Precision tools and robust machines thus occupy a large part of his workshop. A space that it regularly opens to the general public. To children in particular, which she always takes pleasure in teaching the arts. To adults also who wish to carry out their own works or learn to take care of their precious works. And finally to the apprentices who wish to be trained to embrace a binder career in turn.

Twice a month, Marie also devotes her days to the animation of the Paloise Poulette Land boutique, to offer workshops and to participate in sales of objects produced by fifteen Béarnais creators.
