A novelty for the next literary meeting organized by the association Les Rendez-vous de Saint-Estève: the reading circle is now opening up to the whole public. It is no longer reserved for nine members of the literary committee.
Each participant is free to come and share their favorites, their disappointments or his enthusiasm for one or more books, without constraint or prior selection.
The members of the Commission will also present their own discoveries, varied and personal, by transmitting the pleasure felt over the pages.
-No kind imposed, no defined theme: this first session is placed under the sign of freedom of expression. Everyone can evoke, with their words, what touched, amazed or upset during reading. A brief presentation of history, context or the time will be welcome, without revealing the end (spoiler ban!). Reading an extract is also possible, the objective being to arouse curiosity and the desire to discover the work.
If several readers have chosen the same work or if it is known to other participants, the discussion will be enriched by spontaneous exchanges and crossed points of view.
Appointment Mardi May 6at 6.30 p.m., at the Théâtre de l’Etang (modular room). Bring, if desired, the book (s) to present. At the reception, it will be enough to indicate the titles chosen.
