A new book on the Oriental Park has just been released, a third creation which incorporates the 40 years of evolution of the Japanese garden. This beautiful work highlights the work of gardeners who work every day to maintain the park and embellish it. It allows the reader to find many explanations there, and to have an overview over the seasons and events.
Its development started a year and a half ago. “Between all the exchanges for the choices to take, the writing of the texts, the selection of photos and graphics, and all the final proofreads, we spent at least 2,000 hours there”, estimate the four volunteers engaged in this project. A watercolorist, Bernard Keilwasser, put his touch there over the pages.
Three employees also invested. One of them, Delphine Baudouin-Tisserand, rejoices: rejoices: “This project is a fine example of the spirit of the Park association, with always this complicity between volunteers and employees in a sharing of everyone’s skills. »»
The book is on sale (€ 19.90) at the Oriental Park, at tobacco-press Le Brazza, in Maulévrier, at the Tourist Office and the Culture Espace, in Cholet.
