The Multi-Reverse series at Emmy Awards and Golden Globes has been renewed for two additional seasons. The shooting will take place in 2026.
The series Shōgunrewarded 18 times in 2024 at the Emmy Awards, will be entitled to a second season, whose filming is scheduled for January 2026 in Canada, announced this Wednesday, April 30 in a Disney+ and FX press release.
Adapted from the novel Shōgun From James Clavell, who had already inspired a mini-series in 1980 with Toshirō Mifune and Richard Chamberlain, the series follows the history of John Blackthorne, the first British sailor to reach Japan in the 17th century.
