While fans thought that the intrigue of My love in paradise (Heavenly Ever After) Finally was going to stabilize, the K-Drama revealed a twist as unexpected as intense, plunging history back into increasing tension.
In the last episode, the character of Kim Hye-Ja seems to the edge of the expulsion of paradise, while the real origin of Han Ji-Min becomes more and more mysterious. This double suspense stirs up the impatience around episode 5, highly anticipated.
On May 2, on the eve of the broadcast of the fifth episode, JTBC published new images revealing a major turning point: Lee Hae-Sook (Kim Hye-Ja) could well be banished from the celestial world. In the previous episode, Hae-Sook had deeply attached to Som (interpreted by Han Ji-Min), convinced that she was the reincarnation of her spiritual daughter, Lee Young-Ae (played by Lee Jung-Eun).
But the end of the episode upset everything. The escape from hell that everyone was looking for was none other than Park Chul-Jin (Jung Sun-Chul), a new member of the “Church of Paradise”. And to everyone’s surprise, the real Young-Ae reappeared in front of Hae-Sook, completely stunned.
Hae-Sook is now seriously likely to be expelled from paradise. The scattered images show Go Nak-Jun (Son Suk-Ku), visibly worried, examining Hae-Sook’s “grape plate”, a celestial device used to count the faults.
In this universe, each error drops a grape from the sky. When six grapes are reached, the sentence is irrevocable: the soul is sent to hell. Hae-Sook, known as the paradise, has already accumulated four grapes. She is therefore closely monitored, and could well find herself in full “spiritual reform”.

According to the latest data from Good Data Corporation, Heavenly Ever After recorded an increase in popularity of 65 % compared to the previous week, reaching 5th place in the most commented dramas. A leap which testifies to the growing enthusiasm of the public.
Episode 5 of my love in paradise will be broadcast on May 3 at 10:40 p.m. (KST) on JTBC then on Netflix. The tension promises to be at its height.
