An important rescue system was engaged this Friday, April 11, on the D123 crossing Corbonod. Around 4 p.m., no less than 42 firefighters and 12 devices intervened on an isolated residential fire.

Despite the responsiveness of the emergency services, the flames had had time to attack the floor and the attic of this isolated house. When they arrived at the scene, the home (100 m²) part of the house was completely ignited.

The fire threatened to spread to adjacent premises but the use of four water lances made it possible to overcome the fire. The two adjoining rooms of 80 and 100 m² could thus be preserved. The fire made no victim.
