Thunderstorms will continue for this Sunday, but a little less violently. While 85 departments were placed in yellow vigilance this Saturday for violent thunderstorms, they will only be 57 tomorrow, according to the Météo-France bulletin, updated at 4 p.m. this Saturday May 3, 2025.

Vigilance throughout the southern half + the Grand Est

The meteorological body anticipates Locally marked stormy rains From Occitania to the center-east. Indeed, the yellow vigilances concern the whole southern half of France (except the Bouches-du-Rhône and the Var), and go back to the east.

Before mid-day, the conditions deteriorate, the thunderstorms multiply and the showers intensify, first from the Pyrenees to the central massif, then on Lauvergne-Rhône-Alpes and the island of beauty, with sometimes a little hail, good cumulative rain and gusts of wind from 70 to 80 km/h under these thunderstorms.
