Loches runs out of Sancoins in Challenge regional 2

The Lochois won, this Saturday, May 3, 2025 on Saturday, the Challenge final of Regional 2 against Sancois who have dropped nothing until the match.

The Cher team started the meeting well and opened the scoring from the 2^e Minute by Durand on penalty (0-3). The Lochois responded in the process by Girard (7-3, 4^e). They were continuing their walking forward: the pack was pounding the opposing test line and the Desbiusson Foos pillar made its power speak to mark the second trial (3-14, 10^e). Sancoins reduced the gap on the display board by succeeding a penalty (14-6, 20^e) and the debates were established between the two teams until half-time.

A second period in mano a mano

The Sancois were better returned in the second half. They were thus able to register a trial in the counter where Durand was at the conclusion at the 45^e Minute (14-13). This same Durand scored a penalty a few minutes later allowing his family to go back to (14-16, 49^e).

A short-lived advantage since his opponent Hose put his team back in mind thanks to a penalty (17-16, 52^e). The Lochois would then accelerate the game and Steib scored a try for his team (22-16, 55^e). Durand, author of 21 points in the match, reduced the difference on penalty at the time of play (22-19, 59^e). But the men of Faivre were still going to leave before. They were siege of the opposing test line which ended up letting go and Vandenhecke flattened the test for his own (29-19, 67^e).

Sancoins reacted, and returned to the part by Combette who came to conclude a period of domination and pick up at 3 points (29-26, 78^e). The word of the end nevertheless returned to Loches. Girard marked his second personal trial in the final minute (34-26) in the corner thus ensuring victory at the Club of Indre-et-Loire.
