After three months of competition, the winner of The Voice was finally revealed! For the final of season 14, Mega, Mickaël, Gianni and the trio Il Cello were the respective talents of Vianney, Patricia Kaas, Zaz and Florent Pagny. After having interpreted in turn, duos with their coaches and with the guest artists of the final, as well as their unprecedented title, the public voted for his favorite candidate. With 49 % of the suffrage, he won The Voice 2025.
Pour DiverseSébastien Longhi, Salvatore and Levon confided in the day after this great victory. They returned to their journey, the surprise creation of their trio by Florent Pagny, and their future projects.
You were obviously very moved after your victory. What is the first thing you thought of?
Salvatore : To tell the truth, I thought there would be a trophy for all three (laughs) ! We obviously thought of our loved ones and all our work. It is a well -successful work, both for us and for Florent Pagny. We were very happy!
What does this price represent for you?
Levon : It is the accomplishment of several years of work each on our side. We went through so much during this adventure. We have a very atypical course: we arrived alone in The Voicethen Florent Pagny created our group, he Cello. We are very, very happy to have gone to the end. We felt the public’s enthusiasm as soon as the group was created, whether in the room or outside the set via social networks. We are proud and happy.
For the first time, you interpreted your song, A woman. How did you agree on the subject of this title?
Sébastien long: The song was written by Mark Weld and composed by Thierry de Cara. Mark told us at length to get to know our personalities, what matters in our lives … What is most emerged from our conversations is the place of women and their importance for each of us. We mentioned our mothers, our sisters, our aunts, our companions … Really all the people of the female gender who are important to us. He wrote a text on them, and it was a crush. Florent Pagny also referred us to the text. It gave this magnificent title.
S : They made them listen to before the final. They hung directly.
It was not the only striking moment of this final. You were finally able to sing with your coach after all these months of competition …
L : It was a very solemn moment with Florent. Humanly, it is a very beautiful person. When you sing with him, something happens. We are also flattered, because we see that he takes as much pleasure of singing with us, as we three with him. He was taking his foot. It was a great moment with Florent. We get along very well. We are on a small cloud.
You also sang with Lara Fabian during the final. Before your performance, were you able to chat with her?
L : Yes, we had the chance to be able to meet her in her lodge. It also allowed us to desecrate the moment and have less apprehension on stage in front of it. Lara Fabian is one of the greatest voices in French -speaking song. We had an extraordinary moment on one of his flagship titles, Adagio. It was a suspended moment that we had the chance to live.
S : It relieved us a little to speak with her before, because we were able to discover what a beautiful person she is. She gave us a magnificent compliment after the song. She told us that we were able to have power and emotion while singing, two things complicated to have her.
L : It is flattering from it. Lara Fabian is a legend. We do not yet realize what has happened. The more the days will pass, the more we will understand it.
You came alone in The Voicethen Florent Pagny gathered you with he Cello. Did you understand why at first?
S. L. : Now we understood it! At the very moment, we didn’t expect it at all and we didn’t really think about the reason. He then explained his reasoning to us. He found that our voices were married very well together. According to him, the planets were aligned: we all found ourselves in his team the year of his return and he gathered us during the test of the groups which did not exist before. He was right.
What was your first reaction when he offered to train this group?
L : To be frank, we were all three puzzles at the start, but what we wanted was to continue The Voice. Working for three is different and we apprehensive. It asked us three times more efforts to find out how we had to give our voices. The more the weeks passed, the more we realized that it worked. We went to the end of the adventure …
S : We love each other!
L : (laughs) We get along very well and it’s essential.
What was your favorite moment in The Voice ?
L : The three of us agree that this is the moment when Florent Pagny was moved to see us sing No sleep (from the Opera Turandot de Puccini, editor’s note). Knowing the singer he is and his career, it turned us to see him in this state. It was thanks to this performance during the group stage that he had the idea of bringing us together. It was the first time that the three of you sang together.
After your victory, Florent Pagny expressed the idea of taking you with him during his next tour. Have you been able to talk to him more about this project from the final?
S. L. : Everything has been chained very quickly since last night. We have not yet had the opportunity to discuss it, but I think it will not be too long. For us, this is the realization of the project we dreamed of. We are more than happy to be able to perform in front of an audience with the person who created our group. It would be an honor.
What is the continuation for you?
L : It’s the end of The Voicebut the beginning of a new story. We want to continue working together and the goal is to make an album and why not ensure concerts, as Florent spoke of. By then, we will see. We will try to organize and quickly start writing songs.
If you have one thing to remember from your adventure, what would it be?
S. L. : To stay yourself. It is the most beautiful advice that Florent could have given us.
