Juniorgp, Estoril J2: The first poles make the headlines of qualifications

Mixed conditions play their role on the Estoril circuit in Portugal for the qualifications of the Juniorgp ™ championship. This qualification day brought significant performance and set the tone for the rest of the season, with Salmela, Mongiardo, Cano and Garcia at the top of the gates.

The wait is over, since the FIM Juniorgp ™ 2025 world championship came to life on the emblematic Circuito do Estoril. With six races on Sunday, the season starts on wheel hats through the juniorgp ™, the European Moto2 ™ championship, the European Talent Cup and the European Stock Championship.

The qualifications in Estoril allowed Francesco Mongiardo (FAU55 Teyracing) to make a decisive breakthrough by winning its first pole position in Moto2 ™ ECH with a time of 1: 38.133.
