A small plane crashed in a residential area in southern California, killing two people and damaging houses, local authorities announced on Sunday, May 4. The firefighters of the county of Ventura were alerted from the crash of a single-engine monomotor, in Sim Valley, in the northwest of Los Angeles.
The Small plane was found in one of the gardens by the police. The police and the office of the medical examiner, dispatched to the scene, “confirmed the presence of two passengers aboard the plane, Who both died in the accident, “said firefighters on the social network X.
The inhabitants of the two affected houses were inside during the accident, but were not injuredhe added. Photos and videos posted by the firefighters show a pierced roof, lost tiles, stuck trees, a barrier and a collapsed brick wall.
A dog was also on board, at the time of the accident, according to a police declaration in CBS. According to CBS, the American air regulator (FAA) indicated that the plane, a van’s Aircraft RV-10, had taken off from the aerodrome William J. Fox, in the County of Los Angeles, and was heading to Camallo airportin the neighboring county of Ventura.
