Cameroonian Francis Ngannou, MMA heavy champion, said on Saturday that he had “broken heart” after a fatal road accident where he could be involved in his country, according to local media.
“My heart is broken by this tragic accident which caused a devastating death,” he said in a statement transmitted to AFP.
-“My deepest condolences go to the family (of the victim), I have been by his side from the start and I met him in private to share his mourning,” added Ngannou, without specifying the circumstances of the drama.
His vehicle would have struck a motorcycle
“I carry their pain with me, and my flawless support as well as my thoughts are with them while they endure this heartbreaking loss whose feeling of pain knows him,” concluded the 38 -year -old MMA fighter, who lost his son of 15 months in April 2024.
According to local media and the TMZ site, Francis Ngannou’s vehicle struck a motorcycle on which a 17-year-old was in Yaoundé during the Easter weekend. Emergency transported to Yaoundé General Hospital, the girl died while she was under surgery.
