Keanu Reeves was inspired by a combat technique of the former coach of Georges St-Pierre for the franchise John Wick? This is what Firas Zahabi claims in a new video published on YouTube.
Having led to Georges St-Pierre for ten years, the Quebecer of Lebanese origin Zahabi shared a video in which he shows the technique he says he invented.
Called “Web Guard”, this movement consists of a leap where the fighter grips his opponent with his legs and then ride him on the ground.
Firas Zahabi mentions that he stopped using this technique after almost injuring a training partner.
In his video, he then said that a “man named Keanu Reeves dared to steal me”. He then shows an extract from the film John Wick Where we see the actor making a movement that looks like the “Guard Web”.
Staying that Reeves is also Lebanese – he was born in Beirut but also has Canadian nationality – Zahabi added that he wanted financial compensation.
“I am used to the whites to steal me, but if it is a Lebanese like me, there, it is problematic. […] To be short, Keanu, you owe me massari [«massari» signifie «argent» en arabe].»
Keanu Reeves has not yet responded to the accusations of Zahabi.
